After your lesson is submitted our team will review. If we think your lesson will resonate with the entrepreneurial community then we will be in touch about meeting you in person to tell us your story!
What is the difference between my lesson and my story?
Your lesson can be a small part of your story. What you learned from one of the hardest things you had to do growing your business. It could be as short as one sentence or as long as a paragraph. We are looking for the most interesting and relatable lessons and from those lessons we want to learn your whole story, The story of how you have got to where you are today and the obstacles you needed to over come to get there. Still confused? Not to worry! Tell us your story and let us know the biggest lesson you learned from your journey building your company.

How long will it take to hear back from a team member if my lesson is selected or not?
There are a lot of submissions and we are doing our best to read through them all and select the best ones. Expect to hear from us 2 weeks after submission.
Why is Alley doing this?
As a startup we know what it is like to overcome obstacles. Many glamorize building your own company but in reality it is really fu*king hard. If you want easy, then creating your own company is not an option for you. Small businesses and startups are on a constant emotional roller coaster. You have risked almost everything to build something that isn’t guaranteed to be successful. Let’s face it, statistics show the odds are against us with 90% of startups failing. That is why Alley will shine light on not only what it really takes to build a company but to sustain one.
Why should I share my story/lesson?
There is nothing to lose. Sharing your story will help hundreds, thousands, millions, of entrepreneurs all over the world. These entrepreneurs can be going through the same things that you are going through or have gone through and need they need help.
